My Mom and I are trying to plan a Celebration for someone who often said “Do NOT spend a bunch of money on a funeral for me…I won’t be there”.

My Dad once told me…”donate me to science, bury me in the back yard, but DO NOT spend a bunch of money.” I said ‘Daddy…really? The back yard. Isn’t that illegal?” He looked at me and said “who gonna tell?” And was SERIOUS.

My Mom and I are doing the best we can, but EVERY time we come up with an idea, we look at each other and say “nawww he wouldn’t want that”.

Daddy is still keeping us giggling.
